Collecting Information
We only collect personal information in a way that respects your privacy. Sensitive information (such as health or cultural information) is only collected:
In some cases, NRH may collect information from NSW Police, for example when preparing a case for the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).
Security of Information
Your personal information is stored securely in protected systems and premises. When no longer needed, your information is destroyed securely or de-identified, in line with legal requirements.
Using Information
We only use your information for the reason it was collected – or for a directly related purpose. Information is shared within NRH on a need-to-know basis only.
If we receive personal information we didn’t ask for (unsolicited information), we will either destroy it or de-identify it, unless we are legally required to retain it.
Disclosing Information to Third Parties
We do not share your information with family members or other people claiming to act on your behalf without checking with our Privacy Officer first. In most cases, we will require your written consent.

To carry out a service you need (e.g., engage a contractor for property repairs).
If in a leasehold property, we may share your information with the property's landlord or agent.
